So, I have some muscle and joint problems which I won't bore you with, they got me enrolled on an Advanced Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Program at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
It was an 8 week course of 16 x 3 hour blocks, which were then broken down into 40 minute sessions. I want to mention Phil and Pleasure, 2 physios who really helped ease my individual problems, thank you both, you helped me get my body back!
Now to the part of the course that will interest my fellow crafters! I had 16 sessions of wood work, to help my wrists and hands to loosen up. They offer lots of lovely projects to do from a wooden clock to a full sized bird box and feeder. I was thinking of making a stool to sit on when I spin at the festivals. After chatting with Occupational therapists Ken, Fred and Joanne they said, 'You know, you can make anything you want really, Is there anything that you could really use?' So ever the craft first type I immediately thought niddy noddy, sock blockers, swifts, ooo, oooo, ooooooooo 'I wonder if I can make a yarn re-skeiner?!'
Guess what, between the four of us that is what we proceeded to make. I skipped to that class twice a week, which believe me is metaphorical because my knee is not up to skipping. At first I dare not believe that it could be done, by about halfway I knew it was going to happen, by the end I was so excited to get my hands on it I almost couldn't wait. So here it is, what do you think?
Thankyou Ken, Fred and Joanne! And Dr Goodfellow who referred me to the program.

Hiya!
Hello there, it's been a while hasn't it? We've been very busy with our Pure wool appreciation club. At the same time my home and workshop was affected by a huge water mains leak which resulted in my whole ground floor being stripped out and rennovated. The works are complete now despite haveing a nightmare of a construction company working on it. So, we can slowly get back to some normality.
I'll be preparing for a summer of volkswagon festivals, first one being Dubs at the castle and finishing with Volksfest Wales which is moving to Camarthen. If you'd like to prebook any dyeing to be picked up at the events please let me know.
We've just had our April PWAC colourways released aren't they pretty :)

Petal Princess Pattern
Hiya all,
As some of you know, I have been working on my petal princess pattern for a long time. It has been tested and is ready for release. It includes the skirty and the longies version.
I'll be adding it to my store on Friday. If you are on my newsletter list you'll get a discount code on Thursday. So registering on my site might be an idea ;)
